Who gives a fuck if he takes the odd dive , he also gets stuck the fuck in and is easily our best player by a mile like I said from the start while half of you were calling him shit , long may it continue

To think that Alex V suggested we should sell him for £15m the day after the cup final....
Proper LOL, that.

Such a top player, someone needs to have a word with him about his diving though. Seems to be 3-4 a game now and it's getting a bit embarrassing

One of, if not the form central midfielder in the Premier League.....
That will be flogged out on the left wing against Newcastle.
*double thumbs up*

He only signed because we put the Clause in.. Otherwise it wouldn't be there...

Agree, it's highly unlikely he will sign anything for us now with Man City's interest clear.
But if I was West Ham I would still try!

I don't think that's the case at all with release clauses in this country.

Yes, understand buyouts require all the money up front. You sometimes see clubs offer more than the buyout (Chelsea) so they can spread it. But if Man City turn up with £85m and Paqueta wants to go there we cant do a thing even if others (Chelsea) offer more

Usually with buyout clauses the money is paid in full upfront so it is possible that we might earn more out of it

Who was it that continually referred to him as Ponyqueta?
Some weird bods on here. Some will write Kudus off soon as well.

I think the £85m buyout he has kicking in next summer is going to feel like a bargain for Man City Obviously Steidten will be working on a couple of £40m players to spend on.
Have said that getting £105m for Rice and spending it on Kudus JWP & Alvarez has made us a better balanced team. Hopefully we can do it again and add to our overall strength & depth

Should be going all out to get him on a new contract with no or a bigger release clause.
The 85m he walks for next Summer is gonna feel like pocket change for the player he is.

The chance he laid on for Bowen at the end. Was it three players that had him hemmed in?
To escape them then play that ball! Such a shame Bowen couldn't finish it

I still shake my head at times thinking how the fuck did we sign this guy !
Always remembered him at Lyon and was staggered that we signed him
Just enjoy him for now

nick, we've got two of the best left footed wide players in the PL yet he won't consider putting one of them wide left. why do we have to keep playing with inverted wingers? we know why he won't try it

Totally agree Mike. It will hurt us for sure. One way or another (dropped points, unhappy players). For me you’ve got to get Paqueta in the middle and figure out how you get Bowen and Kudos in the starting 11. The rotation and creativity that creates with a solid back bone is actually very exciting. Exciting being the word not in Moyes dictionary

Re: Lucas Paqueta SIGNED

I completely disagree. he's just the latest player to be marginalised by this prick of a manager. it takes some doing, playing your most talented player out of position so that you can include inferior favourites. it's october and kudus has yet to start a league game, arguably our best player in the LB babysitter role but don't care criticise the manager. instead call the player a 'free man' doing fuck all

Mike- he was free to move around not confined, but nothing came off for him, flicks passing ,shots were poor yesterday, he will need to be at his best next sunday.
